Familia restaurant opened in Coimbra with a simple mission: to bring the culinary traditions of Ukraine to the city. Chef Kateryna Mahalius came to Portugal with 19 years of experience in European kitchens and a deep passion for sharing the flavours of Ukraine. The result is a unique restaurant that celebrates Ukrainian cuisine — from the UNESCO-heritage Borscht to traditional Carpathian dishes — all served in a welcoming space in the heart of Coimbra.
